After the religious ceremony, join us for the reception in a beautiful mansion across the river from Pontevedra. There we will enjoy hors d´oeurves, lunch, an open bar, some live music and a DJ.

Transportation
The reception is a 20-minute walk from the basilica but for your convenience, a bus service will be provided running between the towns of Marin, Pontevedra and Poio. There is also ample parking available at the venue.

Accommodation
We have reserved serveral apartments for guests in Marín as most hotels in Pontevedra are already fully booked. Marín is just 5 miles from Pontevedra and there is a local bus that connects Marín to Pontevedra in 20 minutes. If you prefer, a taxi would cost about 10 euro. On the day of the wedding, there will be a special bus service between Marin, Pontevedra and the receptional hall.
If you plan on renting a car, Sanxenxo, a lively summer destination, is a good option with more hotel availability. It is a 25 minute drive from Pontevedra.

We will be holding a typical Galician lunch of churrasco y pulpo (grilled pork ribs and octopus) in a restaurant/local brewery for our guests. There will also be vegetarian and vegan options. If you plan on attending, please indicate so in the RSVP.
Getting to Pontevedra
The closest international airport is Sá Carneiro in Porto, Portugal. From there, it is a 1.5hour car ride or Flixbus operates buses to Vigo. From Vigo, there are many buses and trains to take you to Pontevedra. There are also two daily trains between Porto Campanha, in the city center, and Vigo.
Vigo Airport is the closest, about a 25 min car ride. There are local buses to take you to the city center to catch a bus or train to Pontevedra. A taxi from the airport to Pontevedra would cost about 60 euro.
Santiago Airport is another option to get to Pontevedra. There are local buses that connect the airport with the main bus and train station where you can easily find your way to Pontevedra. It is a 35 minute train ride or 50 minute bus ride.
A Coruña airport is about an 1.5h car ride from Pontevedra but it is well-connected by train and bus. There are local buses to take you from the airport to the bus or train stations. It is a 85 minute train ride or 2 hour bus ride.
